Use the history you already own.

StreamSlip does not ask for your YouTube watch history through a workaround. Export it with Google Takeout, then calculate your receipt right here in the browser.

Upload your Takeout history

Only watch-history.json is needed. It is not uploaded to a StreamSlip server.

How to get your YouTube History

  1. Go to Google Takeout
  2. Click "Deselect all", then scroll down and select only "YouTube and YouTube Music"
  3. Click "All YouTube data included" and deselect everything except "history"
  4. Click "Multiple formats" button (next to "All YouTube data included"), scroll to find "history", change format to JSON, and press OK
  5. Click "Next step" → Choose "Export once" → Select file size (recommended: 1 GB for average users)
  6. Click "Create export" and wait (⏰ This may take several hours. You'll receive a download link via email)
  7. Download and extract the ZIP file
  8. Locate "watch-history.json" in the "Takeout/YouTube and YouTube Music/history" folder and upload it below
